Apply for an examination authorization certificate

Anyone under the age of 18 who wants to start a training or employment relationship must undergo an initial medical examination (youth health and safety examination). Employers are not allowed to employ young people without this examination.

One year after taking up the first employment, the employer must obtain a certificate from a doctor confirming that the young person has undergone a follow-up examination (first follow-up examination).
