Prerequisites

Educational support is provided for attending:

• Vocational schools and technical school classes which do not require a completed vocational training course, provided that they offer a vocational qualification in a course of at least two years,
• technical and secondary school classes, attendance of which requires a completed vocational training course, evening secondary schools, vocational postgraduate schools, evening secondary schools, evening grammar schools and colleges.

For secondary general education schools and vocational schools, including classes of all forms of basic vocational training, from grade 10 onwards, as well as technical and technical secondary school classes whose attendance does not require completed vocational training, training assistance is only granted under the following conditions:

The trainee does not live with his/her parents and

• a reasonable place of training cannot be reached from the parents' home,
• runs his or her own household and is or was married, or
• has his/her own household and lives with at least one child.

The application for educational support can be combined with a personal consultation.

Proof of the application (as a copy)

• Proof of income from parents
• Tax assessment notice(s) from the calendar year before last or proof(s) of receipt of social benefits (e.g. ALG I, citizen's allowance, housing benefit, etc.)
• If no tax assessment notice(s) is/are available: electronic income tax certificate(s)
