Building file archive - Inspection
Im Bauaktenarchiv der Stadt Jena werden die seit ca. 1880 abgeschlossenen Bauvorhaben zu Gebäuden im gesamten Stadtgebiet Jena aufbewahrt.
Berechtigte Personen können gebührenpflichtig in die Akten einsehen und Reproduktionen anfertigen lassen.

User instructions
- The archives can be used by appointment by inspection.
- The inspection of building files is subject to certain data protection requirements.
- Lending or sale is generally excluded.
- Copies and scans may be made for personal use.
- Public or commercial use of the material requires the written permission of the head of the building file archive.
Unterlagen
The following evidence is required for the use of building records:
Owner
- Proof of ownership required (e.g. land tax notice, extract from the land register or contract of sale).
- The proof should not be older than one year
Architects, civil engineers, real estate agents, lawyers representing the owners
- Presentation of proof of ownership (e.g. land tax assessment, extract from the land register or purchase contract) and additional power of attorney from the owner.
- The certificates should not be older than one year.
Employees of scientific institutions, students, pupils
- Application for use with exact description of the scientific task
- Confirmation of the scientific institution which is responsible for the assignment
- Archive research is free of charge, fees will be charged for copies and scans.

Die Benutzung ist nur durch Einzelpersonen möglich. Gern nehmen wir auch weiterhin Ihre Aufträge per E-Mail (bauaktenarchiv@jena.de) entgegen. Bitte übermitteln Sie mit der Anfrage auch einen aktuellen Eigentumsnachweis/Vollmacht.
