Collection

Whoever makes a collection of donations of money or property or donations of pecuniary benefits by direct action from person to person

• on streets or squares
• in restaurants, taverns or other premises accessible to the general public (street collections)
• from house to house

in particular by presentation of collection lists (house collections), requires permission to do so.

Game capital under 20,000 €

If the game capital (= number of tickets x ticket price) does not exceed €20,000, the General Permit for the Organization of Public Lotteries and Raffles in the Free State of Thuringia applies until 31.12.2017.

The raffle must be announced. The following must be named in the notification

• Organiser
• place and time of the event
• responsible person(s)
• purpose of the raffle
• game plan, from which the scope of the raffle results and
• the start of the raffle

Game capital over 20,000 €

A raffle with a game capital of more than €20,000 must be approved.
