The donation receipt / donation certificate confirms to the donor that the donation has been received and used for tax-privileged purposes. A distinction is made between donations in kind and donations in cash.

Donation confirmations of the city administration Jena

Confirmations for donations to departments and institutions of the Jena city administration are issued centrally by the accounting / enforcement department. Inquiries are also answered here.

Non-profit associations are entitled to issue donation confirmations according to the valid donation law. In this case, please contact the associations directly.

The forms for donations in cash or in kind can be downloaded as PDF files from the website of the Thuringian Ministry of Finance.

Exception

For donations of up to € 200.00, the tax authorities only need a copy of the bank statement, the deposit slip or, in the case of online banking, the PC printout showing the name, account number of the ordering party and the recipient, the amount and the date of posting.
