Enforcement in favor of third parties
The enforcement authority also handles the enforcement of monetary claims under public law for all local authorities in Germany, and, if authorized by law, for local authorities from abroad and all institutions and facilities for which this is assigned by law.
Details
The enforcement authority of the city of Jena takes over the enforcement
- nationwide for all other municipalities by way of administrative assistance
- from and to foreign countries, insofar as this is permitted by the enforcement laws and intergovernmental agreements and
- for certain creditors who are not themselves enforcement authorities or do not employ enforcement officers by way of legally assigned enforcement.
The assigned enforcement is carried out for
- all public broadcasting corporations nationwide
- chambers of industry and commerce
- Chambers of Crafts
- Friedrich Schiller University
- Thuringia Chamber of Architects
- Pension scheme for lawyers in Thuringia
- Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Thuringia
- Pension Fund of the Chamber of Architects
- Thuringian Medical Association
- Pension fund of the Thuringian Chamber of Dentists
- Special purpose association for veterinary and food monitoring Jena-Saale-Holzland
- GfAW - Society for Labor and Economic Development of the Free State of Thuringia mbH
- Publicly appointed surveyors
Procedure
A request for administrative or enforcement assistance in simple text form is required to instruct the enforcement authority. If there is an obligation to pay costs, processing will not begin until the cost contribution has been paid.

Fees
Administrative assistance is free of charge in case of reciprocity.

The cost contribution must be paid upon submission of the request (at the latest after submission of the summons) to one of the bank accounts of the City of Jena or after submission of the summons, stating the booking reference.
