Der Fachdienst Buchhaltung / Vollstreckung erledigt zusätzlich die Vollstreckung öffentlich-rechtlicher Geldforderungen für alle Kommunen in Deutschland, bei gesetzlicher Ermächtigung für Kommunen aus dem Ausland und alle Institutionen und Einrichtungen, für die das gesetzlich zugewiesen ist.

The accounting and enforcement department as the central enforcement authority of the city of Jena takes over the enforcement
- nationwide for all other municipalities by way of administrative assistance
- from and to foreign countries, as far as the enforcement laws and intergovernmental agreements allow this and
- for certain creditors who are not themselves enforcement authorities or do not employ enforcement officers by way of legally assigned enforcement.
Assigned enforcement is carried out for:
- all public broadcasting corporations nationwide
- Chambers of Industry and Commerce
- Chambers of Crafts
- Friedrich Schiller University
- Chamber of Architects Thuringia
- Versorgungswerk der Rechtsanwälte Thüringen (pension scheme for lawyers in Thuringia)
- Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Thuringia
- Pension fund of the Chamber of Architects
- State Medical Association Thuringia
- Pension fund of the Thuringian Chamber of Dentists
- Veterinary and food monitoring association Jena-Saale-Holzland
- GfAW - Society for Employment and Economic Development of the Free State of Thuringia mbH
- Publicly appointed surveyors
Ablauf
A written request for enforcement or an enforceable list of defaulters is required in order to instruct the enforcement authority.
In the event of a cost obligation, processing shall not commence until the cost contribution has been paid.

Administrative assistance is provided free of charge in the event of reciprocity.

The contribution to costs is to be paid with the submission of the request (at the latest after presentation of the summons) to one of the bank accounts of the city of Jena or after presentation of the summons stating the booking reference.
