You will be informed directly at the Family Information Point (FiP) about your concern or also referred to the competent contact person within the city administration or other facilities/institutions or similar outside the city administration.
Your questions could be, for example, as follows:
- Where can I register my child for school in Jena?
- Which bilingual kindergartens are there in Jena?
- How and where can I register my child for a kindergarten place in Jena?

On 23.12.2025 the area is only open until 4 pm. The area is closed on 02.01.2026. The department cannot be reached by telephone from 4 p.m. on 23.12.2025 and all day on 02.01.2026.
