Green oases - applying for funding for greening & unsealing

Inner-city greenery is becoming increasingly important in terms of both urban climate and urban ecology. In addition to the known positive effects such as improvement of air quality through CO2 binding and oxygen production, air cooling and aesthetics, urban greenery also plays an increasingly important role as a habitat and development space for numerous animal species such as birds and especially insects.

The city supports various greening measures in the inner-city area and within the coherently built-up districts and assumes up to 50% of the total eligible costs.

Natural persons, owners' associations, companies and associations are eligible to apply.
