The Infection Protection Act (IfSG) prescribes instruction by the public health department for persons who

• handle food on a professional basis and come into contact with food during these activities
• work in kitchens and other facilities in the context of communal catering.

One of the above-mentioned activities may only be undertaken for the first time after instruction by the public health department. This activity must be commenced within 3 months of the instruction.

1. You book an appointment for online instruction on the website for a fee.
2. All personal data is transmitted in compliance with data protection regulations.
3. You will be contacted via WhatsApp, Facetime, Signal or Ginlo via video call for the booked appointment (+/-15 minutes). Please start your device 15 minutes before the booked appointment via the link.
4. You show your ID document and look into the camera to ensure that you are the person registered (authentication).
5. You will then receive your access data (participant code) for the instruction and can select the language in which you would like to receive the instruction. Please remain in the selected language until the end of the instruction. Foreign languages are sometimes displayed as subtitles in the German-language instruction film.
6. Now you only need to actively click on and approve the data protection consent or information on the instruction. You can then take part in the instruction.
7. This begins with the approx. 20-minute instructional film. Please watch the movie to the end.
8. Afterwards, please read the instruction leaflet carefully until the end.
9. After the instruction, participation in a test is mandatory. The eight questions relate to the film and the information sheet. There is only one correct answer to each question. The test can be repeated if necessary.
10. If you have any questions about the instruction according to § 43 IfSG or the content of the instruction video, please contact Technologiezentrum Glehn GmbH by e-mail.
11. Finally, you have the opportunity to rate the online instruction. We look forward to your feedback!
12. You can then download the certificate from the system and print it out. Alternatively, it will be sent to you by e-mail.

• Cash

Please note that fees at the Health Department can only be paid by debit or credit card. Cash payments can only be made using the cash machines in the Citizens' Services or Fire Service departments.
