Outpatient assisted living

Within the framework of outpatient assisted living, support and assistance in coping with the problems of everyday life, in particular in connection with housekeeping, leisure activities or living, is provided on an outpatient basis by specialist staff.

The purpose of the service is not the ongoing assumption of activities for the disabled person, but rather the instruction of self-help.

Social psychiatric family care

Social psychiatric family care is an outpatient form of help instead of an inpatient measure, which is offered outside the own family in a foreign family.

Social psychiatric family care offers mentally ill people who do not only need help for a short period of time a way of life that also has a stabilising effect in the longer term and a perspective for their own independence in the longer term by participating in life in a host family.

These care services do not exclude further day-structuring services, e.g. attendance at a day-care centre or a visit to a workshop.

Workshop for disabled people & support area of the workshop for disabled people

The workshop for disabled people is a facility for the participation of disabled people in working life and for their integration into working life. Upon admission to the working area, the Social Welfare Department becomes the responsible cost unit.

If the personal requirements for employment in a workshop for disabled people are not met, support is possible in a support area affiliated to the workshop for disabled people.
