Drinking water - advice & monitoring

Obligation to notify according to § 13 TrinkwV paragraphs 1 - 3

• no later than four weeks in advance of the construction of a water supply system
• no later than four weeks in advance of the initial commissioning or recommissioning of a water supply system and within three days of the decommissioning of a water supply system or parts thereof
• at least four weeks in advance in the event of structural and operational changes to parts of a water supply system that carry drinking water and that may have a significant impact on the quality of the drinking water
• in the event of a transfer of ownership or right of use of a water supply system to another person at least four weeks in advance
• as early as possible in the event of the construction or commissioning of a water supply system and the expected duration of operation

Obligation to notify in accordance with § 13 Trinkw paragraph 4

• Systems that are intended for the withdrawal or supply of water that is not of drinking water quality and that are installed in the household in addition to the water supply systems in accordance with § 3 number 2 (wells, rainwater systems)
