Educational assistance
Some parents need more intensive help with parenting for a while. Young people have the right to support for their development and upbringing (§ 1 Social Code VIII). The task of parenting lies with the parents.
The specialists in the General Social Service support parents in raising and supporting young people. Suitable help is offered on a case-by-case basis.

Details
The social workers arrange educational assistance or other youth welfare services in accordance with Social Code VIII (SGB) if the child or young person's welfare cannot be guaranteed and the assistance is suitable and necessary for their development.
Together with the young people and their families, they look for suitable forms of support in the form of outpatient, partial inpatient or inpatient help.
In the implementation of services and assistance, cooperation with the parents is an important basis for the success of the assistance process.
