Sie haben nach dem Bundesmeldegesetz die Möglichkeit, der Weitergabe Ihrer Daten in bestimmten Fällen zu widersprechen.

Eine Begründung muss nicht angegeben werden. Der Widerspruch gilt bis zu seinem Widerruf. Übermittlungssperren, die aufgrund eines früheren Widerspruchs eingetragen wurden, werden weiterhin berücksichtigt.

Für den Widerspruch können Sie den unter Downloads hinterlegten Vordruck oder den Online-Antrag(link is external) verwenden.

Objection to the transmission of data to:

  • the Federal Office of Personnel Management of the German Armed Forces
  • a religious society under public law to which the person subject to the obligation to register does not belong, but to which family members of the person subject to the obligation to register belong
  • parties, voter groups in connection with elections and votes
  • elected representatives, the press or radio on the occasion of old age or marriage anniversaries
  • directory publishers

Objection in accordance with Section 58c, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1 of the German Soldiers' Act in conjunction with Section 36, Paragraph 2 of the German Federal Registration Act

For the purpose of sending information material about activities in the armed forces the registration office the department of citizen and family services of the city of Jena, transmits to the Federal Office of Armed Forces Personnel Management by 31 March each year the following data on persons with German citizenship who will come of age in the next year:

  1. Family name,
  2. first names,
  3. current address.

The data will not be transmitted if the persons concerned have objected to it in accordance with section 36, paragraph 2 of the Federal Registration Act.

Objection under Section 42(3) of the Federal Registration Act and Section 50(5) of the Federal Registration Act

Pursuant to Section 42(3) of the Federal Registration Act and Section 50(5) of the Federal Registration Act, every resident has the right to object to the disclosure of his/her data.

If members of a religious society under public law have family members who do not belong to the same or any religious society under public law, the registration authority, the department of citizen and family service of the city of Jena, is allowed to transmit data of these family members to the religious society under public law, which is determined by law. An objection against this data transmission is possible according to § 42 Abs. 3 Bundesmeldegesetz.

The registration office, the department of citizen and family services of the city of Jena, is allowed to provide parties, electoral groups and other sponsors of election proposals in connection with elections and votes at the state and municipal level in the six months preceding the election or vote, information from the civil register on the data of groups of eligible voters designated by law, insofar as the composition of these groups is determined by age. The dates of birth of the persons entitled to vote may not be disclosed in this context. The person or body to whom the data are communicated may use them only for the purpose of advertising an election or referendum and shall delete or destroy them not later than one month after the election or referendum. An objection to this data transmission is possible in accordance with section 50(5) of the Federal Registration Act.

If elected representatives, the press or radio request information from the civil register about age or marriage anniversaries of residents, the registration authority, the department of citizen and family service of the city of Jena, may provide information about

  1. surname,
  2. first names,
  3. doctor's degree,
  4. address as well as
  5. date and type of the anniversary.

Anniversaries of age are the 70th birthday, every fifth further birthday and, from the 100th birthday, every subsequent birthday; anniversaries of marriage are the 50th and every subsequent anniversary of marriage. An objection to this data transmission is possible pursuant to Section 50 (5) of the Federal Registration Act.

Address book publishers may be provided with information on all residents who have reached the age of 18 about their

  1. surname,
  2. first names,
  3. degree of doctor and
  4. current addresses.

The data provided may only be used for the publication of address books (address directories in book form). An objection to this data transfer is possible in accordance with § 50 Paragraph 5 of the Federal Registration Act.

Those who do not wish their data to be passed on may lodge an objection in writing or in writing at the Bürger- und Familienservice, Team Bürgerservice der Stadt Jena, Löbdergraben 12, 07743 Jena. No costs will be charged.

Reasons do not have to be given. The objection is valid until it is revoked. Blocks on transmission which were entered on the basis of an earlier objection will continue to be taken into account.

Dokumentenausgabe - ohne Termin
