Reserve license plates and random license plates online
You have the option of reserving a desired license plate or the next available license plate (serial or random) for your vehicle or trailer registration online.
Please note
Please state the future vehicle owner when making the reservation. Upon registration, the license plate will only be allocated to the reserved person or the specified company. The fee for the reservation will be charged at the time of registration.
Details
The reservation of a previously selected license plate leads to the additional fees listed below when registering the vehicle. The fee becomes effective upon confirmation of the reservation.
Due to the change in the vehicle registration regulations, at least two digits must be allocated to motorcycles with immediate effect. Please note this when reserving your desired license plate.

Document Pickup - No Appointment Required
You can pick up documents that you have already applied for and are now ready for pickup (passports, ID cards, eID cards, and documents from the driver’s license office) at the front desk during business hours without an appointment.
Other Matters Requiring an Appointment
If you need to visit in person for other matters, you must schedule an appointment. You can do this online or by phone.
