Residence permit - transfer

If you have received a new passport, a new electronic residence permit must be issued. The original residence permit is simply reissued without the conditions for issuing it being checked again. A residence permit is reissued with the original validity.

The residence permit will not be extended. This requires a separate appointment to apply for a residence permit.

All incoming applications will be reviewed without a personal visit.

Please send us the relevant application forms and all necessary documents either by post or electronically by e-mail to: antrag-abh@jena.de. Please do not send us any original documents.

If a personal appointment is necessary after final examination of your application, you will receive an appointment from us at short notice.
