Setting up a roadworks site with a traffic order
A traffic order for setting up a construction site is a special permit. It is required for the use of public paths, roads or squares if the ground is to be dug up for a construction site, something is to be stored/set up there or a pipeline is to be laid in the airspace. Traffic regulation measures are necessary.
You also need a special use permit(link is external) in accordance with Section 18 of the Thuringian Road Act.
Procedure/deadlines
Your application should be submitted 14 days before the start of use to allow sufficient processing time. Please note that it can take up to a week to send your application by post.

Fees
An administrative fee is charged for the permit, which depends on the importance of the road, the area occupied and the duration of the special use. In addition, a fee is payable for the work site of the traffic area, which is also calculated according to the above criteria.
