Special use of public areas
Special use is - in contrast to normal public use - a use that exceeds the equal rights of all. It is therefore generally prohibited or requires a permit.
Special use of public areas includes information stands, tents, advertising stands, bicycle stands, street festivals and outdoor catering. Public areas are defined as streets, sidewalks, squares and other public spaces.

Difference to special structural use
In the case of special use of public areas, no permanent connections to the groundare established and no pegs are set. Permission for special use is only granted for a limited period of time and is therefore terminated after a certain period of time, i.e. the information tables or advertising boards, for example, must be removed again.
Special constructional use includes, for example, measures such as the erection of scaffolding, machinery, equipment, containers, the storage of building materials, the stringing of cables, etc.
