Tax Clearance Certificate
Upon request, an official certificate—subject to a fee—will be issued confirming that the applicant currently has no outstanding tax payments owed to the City of Jena.
The application (see Downloads) must be submitted in writing—including by email or fax—to the Finance Department’s City Treasury Team.

- Correct and complete name of the company or first and last name of an individual (business owner)
- Address of the company’s registered office or of the business owner
- Phone number for inquiries

Certificates are typically picked up at the Finance Department’s office, Am Anger 28, 07743 Jena, 2nd floor, upon advance payment in cash or by debit card; certificates can also be mailed along with a notice of assessment for fees and expenses.
