Traffic restrictions/traffic bans - Derogation

Von den Verboten oder Beschränkungen, die durch:

erlassen sind, können in bestimmten Einzelfällen für bestimmte Antragsteller Ausnahmen genehmigt werden.

Dies gilt nur, wenn ein besonders dringender Fall vorliegt oder aufgrund der Tätigkeit des Antragstellers dringende Fälle abzusehen sind.

The road traffic authority can approve exceptions (according to §46 StVO) in certain individual cases or generally for certain applicants.

Applicants can be any natural or legal person, including e.g. private individuals, craft enterprises, social service providers or associations.

Exceptions can be made for:

§46 Para. 1 No. 3 (stopping and parking bans)
§46 Para. 1 No. 4a (from the requirement to stop at parking meters only while the clock is running, at parking ticket machines only with a parking ticket)
§46 par. 1 no. 4b (from the requirement to park in the area of a zone stop ban only during the time prescribed therein)
§46(1)(11) (from the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by regulatory signs, directional signs, traffic devices or orders).
