Volunteering - Volunteer Card
The Thuringian Volunteer Card is awarded annually for a two-year period by the City of Jena’s Volunteer Advisory Board to deserving volunteers in the city of Jena to recognize their commitment to the common good.
Applications for the Volunteer Card—valid for the years 2027 and 2028—may be submitted until October 15, 2026. Please note that, in accordance with the guidelines for awarding the Volunteer Card, only institutions or organizations may submit nominations.
Details
Clubs, organizations, and initiatives may submit nominations for the Volunteer Card. The Thuringian Volunteer Card grants recipients discounts in Jena as well as in all participating municipalities throughout the Free State of Thuringia. You can find an overview of the discounts under → Links.
