Volunteering – Volunteer Card
The Thuringian Volunteer Card is awarded annually for a period of two years by the City of Jena’s Volunteer Advisory Board to deserving volunteers in the city, in recognition of their commitment to the common good.
Applications for the Volunteer Card – valid for the years 2028 and 2029 – can be submitted until 15 October 2027. Please note that, in accordance with the guidelines for awarding the Volunteer Card, only institutions or organisations may submit nominations.
Details
Clubs, organisations and initiatives may submit nominations for the Volunteer Card. The Thuringian Volunteer Card entitles recipients to discounts in Jena, as well as in all participating local authorities across the Free State of Thuringia. An overview of the discounts can be found under → Links.
