Moped driver's license at 15

A pilot project for the moped driving license at the age of 15 started on 01.05.2013 in Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.

This has since become the regular AM15 driving license, which is now valid nationwide. It allows you to drive two-wheeled mopeds and mopeds as well as three- and four-wheeled mopeds up to 45 kilometers per hour.

Prerequisites

You have your main residence in Jena. You are of the required minimum age or will reach it in the near future.

Application

It is not possible to apply by proxy, as the card driver's license contains your signature, which must be provided at the time of application. You do not have to fill out an application form. It is created by us and simply signed by you.

Identity check

A valid passport or identity card is required for the identity check of the applicant to obtain a category AM driving license when submitting the application or taking the test.

In accordance with § 1 Para. 1 S. 1 of the Personalausweisgesetz (PAuswG), identification is only compulsory from the age of 16.
